APPLETON, Wis. — One local organization will celebrate a decades worth of impact in substance use prevention and mental help support.
Since their inception, RISE TOGETHER has been on a mission to educate, engage, and empower young people to use their voices for change.
The organization has planned a special 10th Anniversary Celebration + Concert for Tuesday, September 12 in Houdini Plaza.
“The impact that we’ve been able to create over the past 10 years is something that I never imagined,” shared Nadine Machkovech, Executive Director of RISE TOGETHER.
The event on Tuesday features food, street art, music by local punk band Crucial Moves, Jammin’ with JD featuring Cutter from WAPL, and singer-songwriter Franki Moscato. Storytelling and spoken word will also be highlighted along with a proclamation by Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford.
