While performing at the Ohana Music Festival in California this week, the Foo Fighters’ show was interrupted by an audience member requiring medical attention. Being both the consummate music professional and one of the funniest man in rock ‘n’ roll, Dave Grohl vamped for a minutes that eventually led to some Led.
After “threatening“ to play Stairway to Heaven until the medical attendants “figured that shit out“ Dave made good on the promise. Ok, he and the band only did a verse or so of the song, while punctuating it with some amusing and profane comments.
Once the medical “shit“ was “figured out“, they resumed the show with the best the best The Best of You.
It’s not the first time Dave has played Stairway. I’ll never forget this appearance he and Taylor made on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn 20 some years ago.
