Dozens of cows decided to take a field trip to a North Milwaukee neighborhood.
The Cows escaped from a farm about a half mile away from the Port Washington neighborhood.
Cellphone video shot by Brian McGarry, shows the cows trot past in a sub-division in Port Washington as residents stare in udder amazement (sorry).
Their owner said they escaped when someone literally left the barn door open. Zipper Check!
But, as the old saying predicted, the cows did indeed come home, with an assist of several farm workers.
According to the owner, none of the cows were injured.
People’s yards on the other hoof were just a little worse for wear – but some were freshly fertilized for winter so BONUS!
