The folks at Guinness keep track of thousands upon thousands of records, a number of which originated right here in Wisconsin.
In 2020, students from the Milwaukee School of Engineering used 9,000 lbs. of Coco Puffs to create the world’s largest bowl of cereal.
In 2009, a group of brothers and sisters set a record for the most siblings to complete a marathon during the Community 1st Fox Cities Marathon. 16 (!) siblings from the Kapral family, originally from Oshkosh, including one with the prosthetic leg, all finished. Sixteen!
And in 2018, a man name Stephen Rupple from Wausau set the record for drinking a liter of gravy, doing so in 12.5 seconds.
