Today, Bon Jovi released a brand-new original holiday song titled “Christmas Isn’t Christmas.” According to Blabbermouth, the track was recently recorded in Nashville, and carries a special message about family.
Jon Bon Jovi expressed that the song reflects the idea that Christmas truly comes alive with the presence of loved ones. Per Blabbermouth, he said, “‘Christmas Isn’t Christmas’ is a song that I wrote about family. The sentiment that Christmas really isn’t Christmas without YOU which can bring up a lot of memories for people. I also liked to turn it around and know that because of you Christmas IS Christmas.”
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has had a remarkable career spanning over three decades since their formation in 1983. They have sold over 130 million albums worldwide, were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and performed a countless number of concerts all over the world. Per Blabbermouth, they have entertained over 35 million fans at those concerts, and grossed over $1 billion dollars in ticket sales in the last decade alone.
What better way to kick off the holiday season than with a Bon Jovi Christmas song??
