CALUMET COUNTY, Wis. — Calumet County sees more crashes involving aggressive driving.
The sheriff’s office reports a 39 percent increase in those types of crashes from 2022 to 2023.
There were 11 more crashes in Calumet County last year, including one more fatality and six more injuries.
The department encourages drivers to not exceed the speed limit, maintain an appropriate following distance, and only pass when permitted.
