MANITOWOC, Wis. — A Two Rivers man left in charge of a missing boy will stand trial.
Jesse Vang is charged in Manitowoc County Court with one count of Chronic Child Neglect.
According to the criminal complaint, Elijah Vue, who was reported missing in February, had been left in Vang’s care. Vang had sent messages to Vue’s mother, Katrina Baur, that he was “teaching” the boy to fear and respect him by making him stand in the corner for hours and take ice cold showers.
Vue remains missing. Baur has already entered pleas of “not guilty” to child neglect charges. Vang will enter a plea to the charge against him on April 16.
