Two Richwoods High School (Peoria, IL) seniors decided to prank their principal but it had to be interesting and different. They succeeded… in fact… they “kilt” it.
Maggie Moore and Pierce Hill hired bagpipe player (piper) Scott Whitman to follow the school’s principal, Billy Robison, around the building for an hour while playing. The students said their initial idea was to annoy Robison – but what they didn’t know is that Robison is a fan of Irish music and thought the “prank” was clever and funny.
“I thought it was awesome and very creative, and all credit to the students for coming up with something that is not destructive to the school and the custodians don’t have to clean up after. It was all in good fun, so I thought it was amazing,” Robison said.
In fact the entire school seemed to have fun with it. Students came out into the hall to watch at bell time with some even dancing to the piping.
Robison said, “Everyone loved it.”
That everyone included several Richwoods parents who posted about the prank which got universal praise for being clever and off the wall.
