KAUKAUNA, WI — A section of Highway 55 in Kaukauna is now reopened to traffic after bricks from a portion of a collapsed building facade are cleared. Highway 55 between Taylor Street and Wisconsin Avenue was closed Sunday afternoon after the top brick facade of the Galleria of Tile fell onto the pavement. Nobody was injured by the falling bricks, although one family living in the upper portion of the building was displaced while engineers reviewed the structural integrity of the nearly century-old building.
