Great White blew open the doors of the 80s rock scene with their 3rd album Once Bitten in 1987, but it was the follow-up Twice Shy that cemented their place in rock and roll history. The album went on to go twice platinum and spawned 3 hit songs. The 90s weren’t kind to them, but the 90s weren’t kind to any 80s rock band, yet they soldiered on for years and after the band split in 2001, Jack went on to be a successful solo artist. He toured the world and released music on his own. Jack was well respected even in the modern hard rock culture. Unfortunately on Thursday, August 15th Jack lost his battle with dementia and passed away at the age of 63.
