Metallica have shared a video of Kirk Hammett unboxing their massive Load box set.
Dubbed “The Whole Kitchen Sink,” the box includes more than 10 lbs of content across six pieces of vinyl, 15 CDs, four DVDs, a 128-page book, and reproduced memorabilia.
Available for pre-order now, this Deluxe Box Set—along with the standard 180g 2LP, CD, cassette, and digital (including a Spatial Audio mix using Atmos), and a 3CD Expanded Edition.
Hammett talks about the experimental production processes and the boundaries of recording and engineering the ‘Load’ album. K.H. also takes us on a trip down memory lane while paging through the book and Metallica memorabilia.
But the best part of the video is Hammett’s joy and wide-eyed excitement during the unboxing.
