A few of this weeks stories on Small Town Crime Wave.
May 18th – City of Chippewa Falls
Two female drivers were in, let’s call it an “altercation” with each other at Kentucky Fried Chicken. One lady got out of her pickup and was pounding on another lady’s car. Then she got out and was throwing food at the pickup.
May 19th – City of Chippewa Falls
A person at an apartment complex reported that two men were “up to no good” on the roof of her apartment building. Multiple officers responded to find the landlord and a roofing contractor checking the roof for possible hail damage.
May 19th -City of Janesville
Multiple people reported that a drunk guy was aggressively “trying to sell them a grocery store” as they walked past an apartment building.
May 19th – City of Beloit
Someone was trying to drive a Jeep in the Rock River at 1:30 AM. Officers arrived to find the Jeep in the water, about 40 yards out. It was occupied and was now disabled. Officers swam out and got the guy to shore where he failed Field Sobriety Tests, and was arrested for OWI.
May 20th – City of Eau Claire
A car crashed into a parked car, and when an officer got there, he reported that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. When asked if he had been drinking, the driver told the officer that “alcohol was not a factor here.” He failed Sobriety Tests.
