We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee and Cutter (and Ross’) Weenie of the Week, the Fox Valley elusive criminal counterfeiter. There is a woman who has been spending counterfeit 100 dollar bills at businesses in Brown county and the Fox Valley.
She first got on the police’s radar when back on June 6th, the suspect used a counterfeit 100 at a pet store. She bought a dog toy for around 20 bucks, receiving around 80 bucks in change. Then used more counterfeit bills at other businesses, including another pet store. I should be more mad at this woman getting away with being able to go on a freebie spending spree but I’m lowkey excited for the dog who is going to be receiving the windfall of toys.
The police have released a surveillance image of the woman. She’s got long pink hair, a leopard print head dressing, denim jacket and pink sweatpants. She also has a louis vuitton clutch, which I have to imagine is also fake. Those things are pricey, and I should know. I purchased a $1,800 louis vuitton purse after a bottomless mimosa brunch with my best friend one Sunday years ago. Had I been living in WI at the time, I’d have nominated myself weenie of the week for spending that much on a purse.
I just wonder if the people working at these stores used one of those counterfeit pens to see if the bill was real or not.. Personally, I hate having to use 100 dollar bills. I feel like people are just going to assume it’s a fake. Hell, I assume it’s a fake.
The police have expanded their search to the Milwaukee region hoping to get more information on this individual. There’s a photo of her car as well, but the video doesn’t look sharp enough to have grabbed any plate info from it. Because, it’s 2025… so lets still use cameras from back in 2003 when the first episodes of NCIS were released.
So for wearing the same pink sweat pants in all the released surveillance footage, you’ve got fake money, buy some new pants!
For wandering around town spending fake money faster than Kylie Jenner’s 3 min flight. This actually happened.. Kylie Jenner took a PLANE from Camarillo, CA to Van Nuys, CA. (it’s like a 45 min drive…)
And for still running around the area spending fake money in your black kia k5 ex. (I just thought I’d add that last part so in case anyone has any info, they can let the police know) ..
