Colin McIntosh is the lexical program manager at Cambridge Dictionary. Dude thinks words like “Skibidi” and delulu” will be around for years because quote “We only add words where we think they’ll have staying power.”
I think he’s DELULU thinking skibidi will even be around next week. I haven’t heard that word muttered by anyone of any age in awhile. For adding words that absolutely don’t need to be in the dictionary, the Cambridge Dictionary needs to feel shame, shame, shame.
