August 20th – City of Monroe
An officer was sent to an Antique Mall, after someone reported that a person was “stuck in some handcuffs.” She was looking at some old handcuffs that were for sale and despite a sign stating that there was no key for them, she tried them on anyway, and could not remove them. Officers used a bolt cutter to remove them.
August 22nd – City of Brodhead at 10:15 AM
Campground staff reported that a man who was making excessively loud noise was asked to pack up and leave his campsite. He told the staff that there was no way that he would leave without having his morning coffee first. Deputies arrived to find him drinking his coffee and stood by while he dismantled his campsite and left.

A man does not like the size of the house that his neighbor is building and wants law enforcement to stop the construction.

A caller reported that a large group of kids was in the park, and one of them used foul language.
