In a scene reminiscent of the sit-com Arrested Development, a woman in Mississauga, Canada was caught driving around with a huge metal staircase attached to the top and back of her car.
The first question after “why” is “how”?
An officer says she apparently backed into it, and then just kept driving with it stuck to the vehicle.
Peel Regional Police say they were notified of the vehicle on Tuesday afternoon. After making contact, officers say the driver said she had initially backed into a building, striking the stairs which broke off and fastened itself to the car.
Officials say the 22-year-old woman from Woodbridge has been charged with careless driving, adding additional charges may follow as the investigation is ongoing.
But at least she didn’t get any hop-on’s while she was on the road – ’cause (normally) you’re gonna’ get hop-on’s.
