The eight-part series (from the producers of Dark Side of the Ring) explores epic struggles and the cultural impacts made by heavy metal’s most compelling artists.
The series speaks with such metal luminaries as: Sharon Osbourne / Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown (Pantera) / Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) / Zakk Wylde and more!
Their intensely personal stories about finding success offer a unique combination of volume and distortion through tales of murder, addiction, rebellion, and redemption.
Into the Void explores such subjects as the Satanic Panic / PMRC / Randy Rhodes’ plane crash / / Judas Priest’s ‘suicide’ trial / Dimebag Darryll’s on-stage murder and other societal waves that have crashed against the steel hull of the heavy metal genre for decades.
