As a higher up in a company, there’s probably always a worry that lower level employees might go out and bad mouth the company. Well Campbell’s just cut out the middle man by having the VICE PRESIDENT, Martin Bally do it. He was caught on tape not only talking smack about the soup, but also the people who buy it. It’s on tape, but of course now there’s an internal investigation to see if the comments were in fact made. Gotta love PR. Who do you think is telling the truth, the guy who doesn’t know he’s being recorded or the team of PR people who wanna make Campbell’s look like they care about the poors? I should give Martin Bally props for being honest(ish), but also, he made derogatory comments towards Indian coworkers and for that, he should absolutely feel shame, shame, shame.
