Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is in Florida this week for shows with his band Close Enemies, and while there he took them along for his final ride on the Aerosmith Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando.
He posted photos and video on Instagram, captioning it, “What a day… one last time before it takes its final lap. It’s been an absolute honor to share this ride with our fans for so many years. Huge thanks to the amazing cast members for the warmth, hospitality, and respect for what this moment means. Thanks for letting us all Ride This Way.”
While the resort has permanently removed the video of Aerosmith that played while visitors entered the indoor coaster’s loading area since 1999 when it opened, it will remain operating until March 1st before being rebranded as a Muppets attraction.
