Metallica has made sure a band leader who entered his school’s band in the group’s marching band competition followed through on his promise that if they placed in the top three of the competition he would get a Metallica tattoo. Well, Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia came in second place in the Division 2/Division 3 category and bassist Robert Trujillo (on Metallica’s Instagram) made sure to remind band director Barry Flowe of his promise in a video announcing the winners, and… Flowe did just that, getting both the band’s logo and school’s logo inked on his left calf.
