An old school Guns N’ Roses reunion took place Monday night at The Troubadour in Hollywood.
It happened at Rock for Jennifer – Loud And Legendary, a fundraiser dedicated to the late L.A. music industry icon Jennifer Perry.
Slash and Duff McKagan reunited with founding drummer Steven Adler and with Gilby Clarke, the guitarist who replaced Izzy Stradlin after he left in 1991. (Adler was fired from GNR a year before Clarke joined, so they were never in the band at the same time.)
It’s the first time Slash, McKagan, Adler and Clarke have been onstage together since Guns N’ Roses’ 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
They played “It’s So Easy” with Faster Pussycat frontman Taime Downe on lead vocals.
