38-minutes of a legendary, unreleased Guns N’ Roses documentary has been uploaded to YouTube.
Perfect Crime documents the band’s 1991 to 1993 Use Your Illusion tour but was shelved after being completed in 1994 was recently posted to JuJu Hounds YouTube page – which takes its name (ironically and directly) from former Guns’ guitarist Izzy Stradlin’s post-GNR band.
The original film is (reportedly) about 90 minutes long, and what has popped up on YouTube is a 38-minute rough VHS cut of the doc.
The leak includes footage of after show parties with waiters dressed as Roman legionaries, fans in various states of undress, a pig served on a platter and lederhosen-clad dancers.
It’s a fascinating glimpse into the the band at the height of its power during their Use Your Illusion tour era.
