This is why theme parks tell you to stay inside the ride at all times.
A 13-year-old boy is recovering after a frightening incident at Disneyland in California where he climbed out of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (you and I remember it as “Splash Mountain”) and fell down a 50-foot waterfall.
Witness video shows the boy tumbling down the drop behind a ride vehicle, prompting an immediate shutdown of the ride. Park staff quickly responded, and the boy was taken to a hospital as a precaution, was not seriously hurt and has since been released.
Safety inspectors later found no problems with the ride itself, and it has since reopened to guests.
You want a waterslide… Wisconsin Dells has plenty.
