APPLETON, Wis. — The city of Appleton is finding little public interest in renaming one of its parks.
Earlier this month, the parks department released a list of nine potential new names for Veterans Park, but director Jim Flick says he has heard little feedback since then………..
Alder Alex Schultz says the lack of interest is disappointing………..
Veterans Park is being renamed because Memorial Park was renamed Veterans Memorial Park earlier this year.
The Appleton Parks Committee will vote on a recommended name next week.
