The hit medical drama The Pitt is being sued by the estate of Michael Crichton, the creator of ER. The show that went off the air in 2009. Crichton’s widow claims The Pitt is basically an ER reboot. The lawsuit says Warner Bros. originally tried to negotiate an ER reboot, couldn’t reach a deal with the estate, and then took pretty much the same idea, changed the name, moved the hospital to Pittsburgh and called it a brand-new show.
Uh yea, it’s like every other hospital show ever, but they’re all living in harmony. Let it go, your husband wrote Jurassic Park ffs, you can’t be hurting for cash. The estate (his wife) should feel shame, shame, shame.
