We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee and Cutter Weenie of the Week, John P Stalker, from Plover, and yes, that is his real name.

His name honestly sounds like a name they’d give the bad guy in a special episode of Family Ties.

Mr. Stalker was accused not of stalking but stalking adjacent by stealing women’s underwear. No that is not the lyric from a follow up Bob Rivers song although maybe he would steal the women’s underwear and then walk around in them? We’re not kink shaming we’re theft shaming. A Stevens Point woman had reported that all her underwear had been stolen from her bedroom. Nothing else, just her underwear. Thanks to video from a doorbell cam police saw him go to her place and leave, after he was arrested they found all her underwear in his backpack. Then the cops searched his place and found more gently used women’s underwear. While I’d like to say hey man go on only fans and ask a model to send you some of hers, for a price you can get it whatever shape you like, but he doesn’t look like he has a ton of money, to be honest he looks like he was recently fired from the chocolate factory.

People will do almost anything to beat the high price of gas. Take public transportation, utilize a bicycle, walk, convert a children’s toy into a mode of transport…

A 30-year-old handy man from Georgia named Mali Hightower got so sick of spending $60 to $90 to fill up his car so he decided to make “mini cars” by converting an (obviously) pink Barbie Dream Camper into an actual “street legal” vehicle.

OK “technically” it isn’t “street legal” but Mali says the local cops are cool with it, as long as he stays off major streets

He equipped it with a two-gallon, one-piston engine from a power washer. Shockingly it can reach a max of 55mph and gets 40 miles per gallon.

Mali says his juiced-up Barbie Dream Camper only costs $3 max to fill up, and he’s been using it to run errands. It even has a little compartment for groceries. Mali says it costs $3 max to fill up.

Police investigating large fight near UWO campus

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police are investigating a large fight near the UW-Oshkosh campus.

Officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of John Avenue around 10:25 p.m. Thursday on the report of a fight involving nearly a dozen people.

It was also reported that a gunshot was heard, but officers later discovered that a firework was set off.

No one was hurt.

While no arrests have been made, police say there is no threat to the community.

Anyone with information should contact Oshkosh police.

Slowey named Menasha Joint School District superintendent

MENASHA, Wis. — Menasha selects its next school superintendent.

Dan Slowey will head the Menasha Joint School District starting July 1. He succeeds Matt Zimmerman.

School board President Rob Konitzer cited Slowey’s experience, knowledge and personality as a good fit for the Menasha district.

Slowey currently serves as director of secondary education for the Green Bay Area Public School District. He previously held positions in the Pulaski and Kimberly school districts.

Don’t Leave Home Without It: AZ Man Returns Alice Cooper’s Castaway Credit Card [VIDEO]

If you’ve ever found a lost credit card, the right thing to do is try to find the person it belongs to. Sometimes that’s easier said than done, and sometimes it’s very easily done – especially if that person is a rock legend like Alice Cooper.

An Arizona man, Geoff Guy, found a credit card belonging Alice Cooper and got the chance to return it in person. Guy was at a gas pump when he tried inserting his card in the reader only to discover that there was already a card left in there by the previous customer.

Guy’s daughter read the name on the back and said, “I think this belongs to Alice Cooper…”

Guy was familiar with Cooper’s music and the musician’s “Solid Rock Teen Center” in Phoenix.

Guy got ahold of Alice’s management team and arrange a meeting at the teen center to return the card.

At the meet up, Cooper gave Goeff an autographed album for his honesty saying, “It’s one of those things…if I found the card, I would say, ‘I don’t know how to get this to the right person.’ Luckily, they live right here and this is synonymous with me, you know, so that was a good call.”

Guy said about the meeting, “You know, the guy’s a legend for people of my generation that’s for sure and it’s a… I’m really glad that I could help get it back to him.” 

The kind gesture couldn’t have come at a better time as Cooper was set to leave on a five-week European tour in a few days.

1 arrested in alleged Neenah shooting incident

NEENAH, Wis. — One person is in custody following an alleged shooting incident in Neenah.

Police were called to the 600 block of Henry Street around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday on the report of shots fired.

Officers traced the shots to the 300 block of Monroe Street, where two males were seen walking. One of them was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.

1 killed, 1 hurt in Greenville crash

GREENVILLE, Wis. — One person is dead — another is hurt — following a crash in Greenville.

A minivan reportedly left W. Wisconsin Avenue near Glennview Drive and struck a tree around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday.

The 58-year-old Grand Chute woman riding in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 64-year-old Grand Chute man, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
