How to Help: Funds created for those impacted by Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy

Waukesha, Wis. — Some funds have been created to support families impacted by the tragic incident at the Waukesha Christmas parade.

United for Waukesha Community Fund

A joint effort by the Waukesha County Community Foundation and United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County has created the “United for Waukesha Community Fund.”

Help Waukesha South Band

A GoFundMe page has also been created to support the Waukesha South High School band.

According to a post on the GoFundMe page, the funds will help “with medical costs, new instruments, and uniforms, as well as any additional expenses that they may encounter due to this horrific event.”

Waukesha Xtreme Dance Team Dancers

A GoFundMe page for the Waukesha Xtreme Dance Team, Ltd. is asking to make an impact with any donation amount as they had many dancers injured in the Waukesha Holiday parade from our mini team to our Elite team, by a senseless driver on Nov 21, 2021.

These donations will help the families towards their medical bills, loss of work, new costumes and any other items that were lost.

The girls spend hours upon hours together practicing, they are more like sisters then teammates. Their families are our families. We are all devastated by the tragedy and anything helps. No child should ever have to witness or go thru what happened on that day.
