Originally Alice Cooper’s bassist, Kip Winger struck out on his own in 1986 to form his own band, Winger. Winger would take to the pop, hair metal of the era, making its way up the charts, finding success with hits like the hard-rocking “Seventeen” and the ballad “Headed for a Heartbreak.” Still active after almost 30 years in the business, the band, featuring Kip Winger on vocals/bass, Reb Beach on guitar, Rod Morgenstein on drums and John Roth on guitar, is currently recording new material and hitting the road. Even original guitarist, Paul Taylor, will be joining the line-up. The ’80s are back!
